Recording a CD on a
tape with the optional
TC-TX770 tape deck
(DHC-EX880MD only)
— CD Synchro Recording
The CD SYNC button lets you record from a
CD to a tape easily. You can use TYPE-I
(normal), TYPE-II (CrO
2
) and TYPE-IV
(metal) tapes. The deck detects the tape type
automatically.
See the operating instructions provided with
TC-TX770 for other tape deck operations.
With the side

Press

OPEN/CLOSE on the tape
deck and insert a blank tape.
Press

OPEN/CLOSE again to close
the tray.

Place a CD (CDs) on each disc tray.

Press DISC SKIP (or CD D.SKIP on
the remote) repeatedly until the
CD 1 – 3 button you want lights
green.

Press DIRECTION repeatedly to
select the side you want to record
on.

to record on one side. Select

or
a
to record on both sides.

Turn REC LEVEL to adjust the
recording level.
While monitoring the sound at the
highest level, adjust the recording level
so that it falls within the range illustrated
below.
