You can have the system turn off at a preset
time, so you can fall asleep to music. You can
preset the time to turn off in 10 minute
intervals.

Press SLEEP and select the time.
Each time you press the button, the
minute display (the turn-off time)
changes as follows:

Press SLEEP once.
To change the time to turn off
Select the time you want by pressing SLEEP.
To cancel the Sleep Timer

Press SLEEP repeatedly until “OFF” appears.
If you select “AUTO”
The system automatically turns off when the
current CD or MD finishes playing. When a
different sound source is selected (e.g.,
TUNER), the system turns off after
100 minutes.
The system also turns off when you press
p
and stop play.
Tip
You do not have to set the clock to use the Sleep
Timer.

• “PTY not found” appears when the program you

• “PTY change” appears when the program type

will receive another station if it broadcasts the

not being provided.
