4-4. CA-33 BOARD
The CA-33 board consists of the following.
IC301 HD64F3437TF16
: Camera microcomputer
IC307 AK6440AF
: 512-byte EEPROM
IC308 to IC310 uPD16818GS : Driver circuits for focus, iris, and shutter
Microcomputer and its peripheral block
IC301 is an 8-bit microcomputer (HD64F3437TF16: Hitachi). IC301 functions as
the main block of the CA-33 board and controls the whole camera control block.
HD64F3437TF16 is an 8-bit single-chip microcomputer and has an internal flash
memory of approximately 60 k bytes.
(The firmware in a camera system is upgraded by the rewrite operation.)
This microcomputer is connected to IC307 (EEPROM). The camera data is
memorized from a microcomputer to this EEPROM so as to update data as required.
Data is communicated in serial. IC201 (timing generator), IC203 (camera display),
and IC206 (D/A converter) on the CA-31 board are all connected with the camera
microcomputer and controlled by serial data.
IC308 to IC310 are driver circuits for a focus, iris, and shutter. They change the
direction of excitation by controlling the IN1, IN2, and INC voltages at pins 8 to 10
using IC301 (microcomputer).
