About Sequence, Tour, and Event
The CSP-5000E System Controller allows for very flexible control of
specific cameras and monitors for surveillance. This is possible through
programming sequences, tours, and events.
What is a sequence?
A sequence specifies all steps of camera switching on a monitor. In the
example above, the camera sequence for monitor 2 is 1
→
2
→
3
→
4.
A sequence can be up to 128 steps, or be down to just one, as illustrated on
monitor 1 which constantly captures scene from camera 5. Each step can
further contain a camera’s preset position and dwell time (1-30 seconds).
However, a sequence must exist within a tour.
