High-Rate Scan Mode
This mode can perform the high-speed reading of a part of
the image on the CCD. This is useful when you need a short
trigger cycle of less than one field.
• The more the scan rate rises, the more the available video
signals decrease.
• The captured video signals are increased or decreased from
the center of the screen as illustrated on the right.
• Set the shutter speed in the high-rate scan mode to more
than 1/10000 sec.
• You cannot use the trigger-through mode in the high-rate
scan mode.

You can adjust the scan rate by adjusting the width of the
trigger pulse. Set the pulse width to become less than 1 V.
Note
A vertical smear could appear on the upper screen when a
very strong reflection shoots on the wide range of the
screen, which does not indicate any fault. When the smear
appears, adjust the aperture with the lens.
