S1 (Factory setting: ON)
Toggles the external HD (horizontal drive) input signal 75-
ohm termination ON and OFF.
S2 (Factory setting: ON)
Toggles the external VD (vertical drive) input signal 75-
ohm termination ON and OFF.
S4 (Factory settings: S4-5: ON / others: OFF)
Adjusts the H (horizontal) phase by combining the internal
switches S4-1 to S4-5.
Setting to ON delays the phase and setting to OFF advances
the phase. You can adjust the phase by about 80 ns (XC-
7500) or by about 67 ns (XC-8500CE) per one bit.
The internal switches S4-6 and S4-7 are not available.
Set the internal switch S4-8 to ON when you do not want to
add the composite sync signal to the video signal.
Note
The HD/VD signal is necessary as the sync signal for the
monitor when the internal switch S4-8 is set to ON.
S5 (Factory settings: All OFF)
Generates the exact width of the trigger pulse by combining
the internal switches S5-1 to S5-4, and controls the camera
module with the correct shutter speed.
For details on setting the shutter speed, see page 56.
Synchronizes the video output signal with the trigger pulse
when setting the internal switch S5-5 to ON.
Switches the first field from field 1 to field 2 in the INT
mode when setting the internal switch S5-6 to ON.
S6 (Factory settings: S6-0, S6-9: ON / others: OFF)
Sets the shutter speed for the E-DONPISHA mode.
For details on setting the shutter speed, see “Shutter Speed
Setting” on pages 58 and 59.
Note
The internal switch S6 is only available when the internal
switch S12 is set to ON.
S7 (Factory settings: All OFF)
Sets the shutter speed for the high-rate scan or sports mode.
Note
The internal switch S7 is only available when the internal
switch S12 is set to ON.
