Compatible Discs
The following discs are compatible with the drive.
BD
1)
Writing speed supported by the drive. Depending on your software and media, this speed
may vary. For more details on writing speed by disc type, access the user support web site
(see page 45).
2)
A system environment sufficient to meet the demands of BD-ROM playback is required.
Note
The drive cannot record to or playback the cartridge-encased discs that support
BD-RE Ver.1.0 (Blu-ray Disc Rewritable Format Ver.1.0).
