S600 (A-1): Mode select switch

After the following settings are changed, turn the power
off and on again.
S600-1 to -4: Minor alarm output conditions select switches
Sets the conditions of outputting the minor
alarm signal from the ALARM connector on
the rear panel. These switches are used to
set in which conditions of the Tx LED and
the Rx LED on the front panel, the minor
alarm shall be output. (It consists of logic
OR of the Tx LED status and the Rx LED
status.)
S600-1 S600-2 Tx LED status
OPEN OPEN When turned off or turned on in red
OPEN CLOSE When turned on in red
CLOSE OPEN When turned off
CLOSE CLOSE Not related to the Tx LED
(factory setting)
S600-3 S600-4 Rx LED status
OPEN OPEN When turned off or turned on in red
OPEN CLOSE When turned on in red
CLOSE OPEN When turned off
CLOSE CLOSE No relation with the Rx LED
(factory setting)
example : When the switches S600-1 and
S600-4 are closed while S600-2
and S600-3 are opened, the minor
alarm is output under the follow-
ing conditions.
. When the Tx LED is lit off or
the Rx LED is lit on in red
S600-5 : Maintenance mode select switch
CLOSE : Normal operation
OPEN : Maintenance mode
Factory setting : CLOSE (lower position)
S600-6 : Unassigned
Factory setting : CLOSE (lower position)
S600-7 : FLASH ROM (CH1) write-protection select
switch
CLOSE : Write-protection function OFF
OPEN :
Write-protection function ON
Factory setting : CLOSE (lower position)
