a. Alarm Settings
Selecting
Alarm Settings
enters the screen shown below (Figure G-4).

Each alarm can be customized to reflect the needs of individual patients.
Each alarm may be turned off temporarily by pressing the
Down Arrow
until the word
“Off”
is displayed
for the corresponding alarm setting.
a. If user has manually turned off one or more alarms, the Monitor displays the words
“An Alarm is
Off”
at the bottom of the screen.
b. If the Monitor is powered off while one or more alarms are disabled, these alarms are restored to
their prior values when the Monitor is powered back on.
The alarm values can be restored to their default values (as set by authorized personnel in the
Systems
Settings Screen
) by selecting the
Restore Defaults
button
(middle function button shown in Figure
G-4). The system prompts to accept or cancel restoring defaults as shown in Figure G-5. Select the
appropriate function button to proceed.
