OPERATION

Turn off timer (SLEEP)
When switch (1) is in the OFF or AUTO position, you can set up a timer to turn off the radio. To activate the
timer, press SLEEP (4). The preset delay is 59 minutes. You can change this time by pressing and holding
SLEEP (4), and then pressing the HOUR (6) and MIN (7) buttons. Pressing HOUR (6) adds one hour to the
turn off delay; pressing MIN (7) subtracts one minute. The maximum time you can set is 1 hour 59 minutes; the
minimum time is 1 minute. You can turn off the radio before this period expires by pressing SNOOZE (5). After
that, depending on the position of switch (1), the radio will either stay turned off (OFF), or it will turn on as an
alarm at the alarm time you have set (AUTO).
Time memory
Insert a 9V battery (6LR61) into the battery compartment at the bottom of the product. If there is a power
outage, the display will go blank, but the clock will continue to work. When power returns, the clock will show
the correct time. This function is only capable of bridging shorter power outages, for as long as the battery lasts.
Once the battery is exhausted, remove it from the product because the acidic liquids leaving an empty battery
can damage it. You can naturally also use the product without a battery. In that case, the current time will be lost
in a power outage.
