Problem
Cause
solution
the motor does not
work
No power supply
voltage
•
Check there is current at the input terminals of the motor power supply.
•
Check that there are no breaks in the power supply cables (replacement of
the power supply cable must be carried out by an authorised technician).
Broken fuse
Replace the fuse.
Thermal protection of
the motor active
Leave the motor for at least 5 minutes and then resume operations.
the gate does not
complete its course
Obstacle impact
protection active
•
Disengage the gate and check for obstacles. If there are any, remove them.
•
Repeat the "programming of work time and setting the impact force" from
page 12 by selecting a greater force.
Note: impact protection can be deactivated by setting micro switch 1 of
SW1 to ON; in this case it is necessary to use other safety systems (e.g.
edge sensor) in accordance with the standards in force. This aspect is very
important, as THE INSTALLATION OF THE AUTOMATIC FUNCTION AND
ITS OPERATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STANDARDS IN FORCE IS
THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE INSTALLER.
Incorrect end limit
settings
Check and set the position of the end limit brackets and their action with the
control spring.
Inadequate
positioning of the
motor
Check that the distance between the end limit bracket and the front edge of
the spring is between 25 and 35 mm.
Power outage during
operation
The first opening manoeuvre is carried out slowly (if the gate is in the
intermediate position) for a maximum of 300 seconds, otherwise the gate must
be manually opened or closed fully (see user section).
the gate is not
moving or the motor
is slipping
Worn capacitors
Measure the capacity of the capacitors and replace them if necessary.
the gate is stuck
against the
mechanical end
stop
Incorrect setting of
the end limit brackets
•
Remove the lower strip from the motor.
•
Unscrew the mounting nuts from the base plate studs.
•
Remove the motor from its position by disengaging the pinion from the rack.
•
Manually move the gate far from the mechanical end stop.
•
Disengage the motor.
•
Reposition the motor on the base plate.
•
set the end limit brackets correctly.
• Refit the lower strip and lock the motor.
•
If necessary repeat the programming of the working time and impact force.
the range of the
remote controls is
short
Worn remote control
battery
If the indicator of the remote control is lit faintly or does not come on at all,
replace the battery of the remote control (see user section).
Poor connection of
the aerial
Check that the aerial is correctly connected to terminals 21-22.
Installation of the
external aerial
Check that the aerial is not fitted to a metal support.
Check that it is in open space.
