THE HUMIDIFICATION PRINCIPLE
OF WATER EVAPORATION
●
The humidification mat in the device is satu-
rated with water. A fan draws the dry room
air through the moist mat and releases the
humidified air back into the room. In addition
to the humidifying effect, the air is simulta-
neously washed, e.g. cleaned of dust and
dirt particles. Since the humidity in the room
air varies depending on the temperature,
the evaporation principle always releases the
ideal level of humidity into the air.
●
Thanks to the washable anti-bacterial humid-
ification mat and the principle of water evap-
oration, there are no white limestone depos-
its around the appliance and water that is rich
in calcium can also be used.
●
The special rotation of the air outlet grille
creates a spiral effect which ensures that the
humidified air is distributed throughout the
room, e.g. at a 360° angle. In addition, the
circulating air feels cooler than still air.
●
In summer you can use the humidifier as a
fan. Simply remove the humidification mat
and do not fill the basin with water.

Dry air will dry out the mucous membranes, leading to coughs and sneezes,
respiratory infections and headaches. Tiredness, lack of concentration as well as
cracked lips and dry eyes are often caused by dry air. Also, insufficient humidity
might be a burden for people with allergies, pets and indoor plants. It will put
music instruments out of tune and increase dust formation and the electrostatic
charge of synthetic clothing. You have made a good choice with the Solis air
humidifier TWIST AIR to counteract all these symptoms. Room air humidity
between 40 % and 60 % is ideal.
