air humidifier.
39. Careful supervision is required when the appliance is used by
children (older than the age of 8) or in their vicinity.

40. The air flow of the appliance must never be pointed toward
babies, small children or elderly resp. ill persons.
41. The appliance switches off automatically after 7 hours (or 10
hours in sleep mode) if the water basin is empty and requires
refilling. The fan overrun time is used to dry the humidification
mat and prevent bacteria and mould. In this case, the colour
of the ON/OFF function light changes from blue to red resp.
flashes red.
42. Always switch the appliance off before disconnecting the
power adapter, otherwise the appliance might be damaged.
43. During use, the motor base always has to be correctly posi-
tioned on the appliance base resp. the water basin. Do not
place anything on the appliance while it is in use or in storage.
44. Disconnect the power adapter after every use. Only then the
appliance is completely switched off.

29. Only use the appliance as described in this manual. Only use
with the provided accessories or accessories recommended by
Solis, incorrect accessories or misuse can lead to damage of
the appliance, fire, electric shock or personal damage. There-
fore, use only the included humidification mat with this air
humidifier.
30. Never use the appliance with an external timer switch or
remote control.
31. Do not operate the appliance on a tilted surface.

33. Remove and discard all packaging materials and potential
stickers or labels (except for the type plate) before using the
appliance for the first time.
34. Check your air humidifier before every use to make sure that
the appliance, the power cord and the power adapter are
undamaged and that no parts have come loose.
35. To prevent electric shock, do not use the appliance if the
power cord or the power adapter are damaged or if the appli-
ance is malfunctioning in any way, has fallen down resp. is
damaged in any way, if parts have come loose or if the appli-
ance is leaking water. Never attempt repairs yourself but take
the appliance to Solis or a service centre authorized by Solis in
order to get it inspected, repaired or mechanically and electri-
cally maintained,
in order to avoid a hazard

36. People with limited physical, sensorial or mental capabilities as
well as unknowing or inexperienced people and children must
not use the air humidifier except when supervised or thoroughly
instructed on how to use the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety. Additionally, they must be aware of the dangers
arising from the appliance and know how to operate it safely.
Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance must not be done
