3.1.4 Connecting to the network
1.
Connect each segment of your PROFIBUS PA network via a power conditioner to a
PROFIBUS PA port of your gateway (PA0 to PA1 for 2-channel model and PA0 to PA3
for 4-channel model). If you connect to field devices in explosive atmospheres ensure
that you also connect a field barrier in between.
2.
Connect the mbGate PA from one of the two Ethernet ports with your Modbus network.
3.
Connect your PC running the engineering and asset management tools with the second
Ethernet port using.
