All of the parts furnished by SMITH & LOVELESS, 

INC. in the 

SONIC START

®

 Retrofit Kit (“Retrofit 

Kit”) are warranted to be free from defects in 

materials  and  workmanship  for  five  years  (5 

years) based on a prorated warranty from date 

of shipment. 

During the warranty period, if any part in the 

Retrofit  Kit  is  defective  or  fails  to  perform  as 

specified when operating at design conditions 

and if the Retrofit Kit has been installed, and 

the  pump  station  operated  and  maintained, 

in  accordance  with  the  written  instructions 

provided  by  SMITH  &  LOVELESS,  SMITH 

& LOVELESS will repair or exchange, at our 

discretion, such defective part free of charge. 

Defective Retrofit Kit parts must be returned by 

Owner postage paid to SMITH & LOVELESS, if 

so requested.  If requested to return a Retrofit 

Kit part, a Returned Goods Authorization sticker 

will be sent to Owner and must be affixed to 

the outside of the shipping container with the 

number  plainly  visible.  Labor  and  any  other 

expense  to  remove  and  install  replacement 

Retrofit Kit parts are the responsibility of Owner. 

SMITH  &  LOVELESS  will  not  assume

DISCLAIMS  ANY  IMPLIED  WARRANTY 

AS  TO  THE  MERCHANTABILITY  OF  THE 

CHECK  VALVE  PUMP  FAILURE  ALARM 

RETROFIT KIT OR AS TO ITS FITNESS FOR 

ANY  PARTICULAR  PURPOSE.    SMITH  & 

LOVELESS is not responsible for consequential 

or incidental damages of any nature resulting 

from such things as, but not limited to, defects 

in design, material, workmanship, or delays in 

delivery, replacements, or repairs. 

The waiver or abridgment of any single provision 

or  group  of  provisions,  either  by  ruling  or 

agreement, shall not be construed to alter or 

void any other provisions of this Warranty.
