7.2. USE
OF
THE
DETERGENT
AND
NEUTRALIZING
AGENT
The machine is equipped with a power detergent distributor “
DD
” and a peristaltic pump “
P2
” as standard.

: Detergent dosage, the distributor is located on the inside door of the appliance.

Use specific detergents for glassware washers, preferably SMEG detergents as recommended below.
It is important to use a good quality detergent if optimum washing results are to be obtained. Keep the
detergent bottles closed in a dry place to avoid any formation of lumps that may affect the wash process.
After the bottles have been opened, do not store them for long periods as the detergent will lose its
effectiveness.

THE
DETERGENT
DISTRIBUTOR
BASIC DETERGENT CONFIGURATION: DD DISTRIBUTOR
The detergent distributor
DD
is on the inside door.
Apart from the Soak programme, the user must add the correct dose of detergent to the distributor for each
wash.
To open the distributor lid, press the lever gently. Introduce the detergent and close the lid carefully.

The distributor opens automatically during the wash.
The recommended dose of the
SMEG detergent Deterglass
is
35-40 mg
, an amount indicated by the
reference lines on the inner border of the distributor.
The MIN reference line is equivalent to 35 mg, that MAX line is 40 mg.
Use the scoop provided to measure amounts.
Insufficient detergent will prevent dirt from being removed correctly. Excess detergent will not increase the
wash effectiveness, but is simply a waste.
