ssid
This command configures the service set identifier (SSID).
Syntax

- The name of a basic service set supported by the access point.
(Range: 0 - 7 characters)
Default Setting
802.11a Radio: VAP_TEST_11A (0 to 3)
802.11g Radio: VAP_TEST_11G (0 to 3)

Command Usage
Clients that want to connect to the wireless network via an access point must
set their SSIDs to the same as that of the access point.
Example
closed-system
This command prohibits access to clients without a pre-configured SSID. Use the
no
form to disable this feature.

Command Usage
When closed system is enabled, the access point will not include its SSID in
beacon messages. Nor will it respond to probe requests from clients that do
not include a fixed SSID.
