Transmitter mode:
Z
- It is used to select the Lower Range Value.

- It is used to select the Upper Range Value.
They work exactly as the adjustment with reference of the
Configurator
controller mode for
transmitters with digital display.
Controller mode:
Z
- Moves the options (
OPERATION
and
BATCH
).

- Activates the selected function.
If
"Complete Local Adjustment"
is selected by the jumpers position, the switches have the following
functions:

- Activates the selected function.
Reranging Using the Local Zero and Span Adjustments in Simple Mode
It is possible to rerange the transmitter with the local adjustment switches located on the top of the
electronic housing. The switches work like the adjustment "with reference" for the
Configurator
.
In order to make these adjustments, the instrument must be configured as "transmitter" (XMTR).
To adjust the zero of the transmitter, proceed as follows:
Apply the Lower Value, signal.
Wait for the process to stabilize.
Insert the magnetic tool in the ZERO adjustment hole (see Figure 4.2)
Wait 2s. The transmitter should be reading 4 mA.
Remove the tool.
