4.1 Sunny Boy
The Sunny Boy is a transformerless PV inverter, which converts the direct current of the PV array to
grid-compliant alternating current and feeds it into the electricity grid.

This icon is located next to the green LED which indicates feed-in operation
of the inverter.
Earth fault or varistor defective

defective varistor (see Section 10.5 "Red LED Permanently On", page 54).
