48. Sand sheeting flush with B4 and B6.
49. You can use the 1/4” B7 pieces to taper the
front of the cowl if you desire.
50. Glue two pieces of (one on each side) 1/4”
sq. x 5-1/2” on the top ends of C1 between
B4 and turtle 1 to form the cockpit sides.
51. Re-mount the wing on the fuse. Place the
horizontal stab on the fuse. Sight from the
rear and make certain the horizontal stab is
parallel with the top of the wing. This is
important for straight flight. Carefully sand
the stab saddle so the horizontal stab sits
level.
52. Remove horizontal stab and align TS2 (90
degrees) on TS1 along the scribed line so
they form a T shape.
53. Place the spacer assembly on the stab
saddle and center it at the front and rear of
the saddle. When perfectly centered, pin
the rear and front ends to the fuse.
