6. Recording
6.1 Channel
On pressing the “OK” key, you get the list of channels from which you can
select the desired broadcaster.
6.2 Filename
Press the “OK” key to define the filename. Otherwise the name of the
broadcaster is used as the default filename.
6.3 Duration
You can define the duration of the recording in five-minute steps, with the
help of the arrow keys.
6.4 Recording
You can start or end the recording anytime with the help of the arrow keys.
Press “BACK” or “EXIT” to switch from the recording to the TV picture
without quitting the recording.
6.5 Timer record
Here you can access the Timer Menu.
Information about the satellites and the hard disk capacity is displayed here.
The top portion of the two bar diagrams on the border of the picture below
illustrates the recording process (REC), the diagram at the bottom displays
the hard disk capacity still available (HDD).
6.6 Timer reservation
You can programme a new broadcast manually
in this menu (Figure a). You can invoke an
overview of all programmed broadcasts through
“Change Timer Settings” (Figure b).
