4. System information
You can get information on the version of the system.
S/W Ver.: Version No. of the software.
H/W Ver.: Version No. of the hardware.
5. Software update
With the help of “Software update”, you can download a new software
version through satellite or an RS-232 cable. Select “Software update” in the
“Main Menu” with the help of “Ch
”, “Ch ” and confirm with “OK”.
Note: If you play the software on the receiver through a PC, please read the
enclosed README file.
5.1 Receiver to Receiver
Copies the software of the current receiver to a different receiver. After
selecting “Receiver to Receiver”, enter the lock code (basic position: “0000”).
The receiver is now ready for the copy operation.
5.2 Manual update via satellite
Updates the software of the receiver directly from the satellite.
5.3 Automatic SAT update on activation
If you set the value “ON”, the receiver examines automatically on being
activated whether an update exists. If yes, it executes the update operation
automatically.
