ROOF BOX
Caution
Read these instructions carefully before first using the roof box. Only fit the box according to this
manual. To ensure safety do not exceed 130 km/h. Do not fit or use the roof box if you do not
understand the fitting instructions. Should you have any questions please contact a Škoda Auto
contracted partner. The basic assembly kit for the roof box is indented for original Škoda Auto
roof racks with a T slot.

Fitting procedure
Fit the roof rack. Follow the information and instructions in the roof rack assembly manual
for fitting to your car. Always select the largest possible distance of the cross rails. The distance
of the cross rails for the Škoda roof box can be 540-965 mm.
During the fitting of the roof box onto the rack with the rectangular profile the maximum dimen-
sions of the profile are: width 80 mm, height 55 mm (min. height 20 mm).
- Fig. 2 and Fig. 6 -
- Remove the protective rubber strips from the original roof rack.
- Place the roof box symmetrically on the roof rack and make certain that it does not collide
with any of the 5 doors when open. If there is any contact between the antenna and the box
then tilt or remove the antenna.
- Open the roof box by turning the key in an anticlockwise direction and opening the lid.

- Insert the T slot bracket to the T slot in the roof rack (position C).
- Slightly lift the roof box and insert the brackets into the respective holes, on the left and right
sides at the front and the back and always to the holes parallel to the ones on the other side.
