SKID PLATE REPLACEMENT
The skid plate of the early entry attachment is a
consumable part, the poor cutting results that oc-
cur with the saw are a result of damaged skid
plate, such as:
• The slot in the skid plate shows severe and/
or uneven wear.
• Burrs on the bottom of skid plate .
• The skid plate is bent or dented .
In these cases, replace the damaged skid plate
with a new one .
1. Use the T25 torx bit to remove the front and
rear rods, then remove the damaged skid
plate .
2 . Replace it with a new skid plate, then use the
original rods to secure it . Start tightening by
hand, then further tighten by 1/2 turn using
the T25 torx bit .
NOTE: The tip/nose of the skid plate should face
toward the front of the saw . Do not install it in
reverse direction.
3 . Ensure the smooth operation by pushing the
skid plate towards the fixed plate with two
hands and releasing it .
4 . Verify the diamond wheel alignment within
the slot on the skid plate and adjust if neces-
sary . Refer to “Adjustements" section .
NOTE: Always replace the skid plate with each
new diamond wheel .
