ATTACHING THE 1-1/2 INCH DEPTH
STOP
1. Set the saw on its side on a flat surface with
the blade guard facing up .
2. Loosen the depth adjustment lever, then ad -
just the cutting depth so that the depth stop
can be inserted into the slot of the calibrated
depth bracket .
3 . Insert the depth stop and ensure that the
depth stop rests flush against the bottom end
of the slot in the calibrated depth bracket
(Fig . 9a) .
4 . Attach the hex nut to the depth stop, and use
the wrench, provided with the saw, to tighten
it (Fig . 9b) .
5 . Lower the saw assembly as far as the depth
stop allows and tighten the depth adjustment
lever to lock the saw at this depth.
