POST-OPERATION CARE
Shut off the engine. Install rear of vehicle on a snowmobile mechan-
ical stand.
Remove snow and ice from rear suspension, track, front suspension,
steering mechanism and skis.
Protect vehicle with a snowmobile cover.
SPECIAL OPERATIONS
Riding at High Altitudes
If you ride at altitudes above 600 m (2000 ft), your snowmobile should
have modifications. Refer to an authorized SKI-DOO dealer.
CAUTION:
Do not change original factory calibration if snowmo-
bile is used below 600 m (2000 ft).
Engine Overheating
Reduce snowmobile speed and run snowmobile in loose snow or
stop engine immediately.
Check for adequate coolant level. See an authorized SKI-DOO dealer.
Fuel Flooded Engine
All Models
Install new spark plugs and restart engine.
Rear Suspension Slider Shoe Starts Sticking
All Models
Slider shoes are cooled and lubricated by snow. When riding at mod-
erate or high speed on a thin-snow-covered surface, slider shoes may
stick on track metallic guides.
Run snowmobile on a surface covered by snow or drive snowmobile
at very slow speed.
Have slider shoes inspected by an authorized SKI-DOO dealer.
WARNING
Do not hold throttle partially or fully open when starting a fuel
flooded engine.
