9.1 General

Installation, maintenance and
repair work on products which
were previously de-energised may
only be carried out by qualified
specialist personnel.

During operation, the product is in
a pressurised state. Depressurise
the product prior to installation,
maintenance and repair work.

System pressure
The customer's compressed air
supply must not exceed a pressure
of 6 bar.
Otherwise, a pressure reducer
must be installed and set to a
maximum pressure of 6 bar.
Any dismantling of the product or individual
parts of the product within the warranty
period which deviates from this manual is
not permitted and will void the guarantee
claim.
Unauthorised alterations and the use of
non-original spare parts are not permitted.
• Only use original spare parts.
Products from SKF are largely maintenance-
free. However, some maintenance activities
must be performed to avoid malfunction or
damage.
The maintenance intervals depend on the
environment and system. The operator shall
determine the maintenance based on the
specific operating conditions.
Any further work regarding maintenance
and repair work may only be carried out by
SFK service.
