6. Installation
6.5 Position lubricating device
Note
If two lubricating devices are in-
stalled opposite each other, the
lubricating pump must be placed
as centrally as possible to both
lubrication devices to allow equal
lengths of the lubrication pipes.

√ Support structure set up with a distance
to the chain of 456 mm (17.95“)
• Insert threaded rods of the lubricating
device with central alignment in the slots
of the support structure.
• Position lubricating device both
horizontally and vertically centrally in
front of the lubrication point.
For distances and maximum deviation,
see “Installation distances” on page 29.
• For vertical positioning, see “Support
structure” on page 27.
• For horizontal positioning of the nuts on
the threaded rods (pos. 1, Fig. 9), turn the
base plate upwards or downwards until
the exact installation position is reached.

The central axis of the mouthpiece
coincides with the centre axis of the
grease nipple. See Fig. 9.
• Tighten the nuts on the threaded rod
(pos. 1, Fig. 9) with a torque of 150 Nm.
Use a calibrated torque wrench for
tightening.
