7 – Place the pressure regulating valve onto the pin and turn it slightly to check that
it is in working order. Fig 5
8 – Cooking time begins once the pressure-regulating valve starts rotating. At this
point you should turn down the heat. To keep your cooker under pressure, the valve
should rotate intermittently and release a little steam. The same amount of cooking
time is required however fast the valve turns. Fig 6
Keep children away from the pressure cooker when in use,
A small amount of pressure may be released through the security valve. This is normal.
9 – As soon as the recipe cooking time is over, turn off the heat and release the
pressure by removing the valve completely or lifting it up partially to the top mark on
the pin. Fig 7
Never force the pressure cooker open. Do not open before you are sure that the
internal pressure has completely dropped.
10 – Before removing the lid, ensure that there is no more pressure inside the pressure
cooker. Turn the upper handle counter clockwise Fig 8. Lift the lid with caution and
slide it horizontally along the edge of the pressure cooker.
