Pressure does not build up in the pressure cooker, what is wrong with it?
Steam is escaping around the lid, what is wrong?
I cannot open my cooker, why?

I was distracted and heated my pressure cooker with nothing inside it, what can I do?
The food is overcooked or undercooked
Answers
- The heat source is not high enough, increase the setting.
- There is not enough liquid in it, add some water
- The regulator valve is not properly in place. Correct its position.
- The safety valve is obstructed. Clean it up.
- Some parts must be damaged. You must replace them.
- The lid is not tightly closed. Follow instructions.
- The gasket or rubber ring does not fit properly. Insert it correctly.
- The gasket is dirty. Clean it
- The gasket is damaged. Replace it.
- The pressure cooker lid rim is damaged (crushed). Please contact your reseller.
- Ensure that there is no pressure remaining in the pressure cooker. Lift the pressure
regulator valve and release the lid. If necessary, place the pressure cooker on the
heat again for a few minutes without the regulator valve.
- N.B.: Take the pressure cooker off the heat source. The regulator valve is clogged
up and must be cleaning. (see paragraph 7 «Cleaning and maintenance care».)
- Check the state of the gasket (it should not be stiff, or show cuts or crevices)
- Check the inside base (it should not be detached or be pitted)
- Check the cooking time.
- Check the heat setting.
- Check the position of the security valve.
- Check the amount of water
