Amalgam rotor
The message
AMALG
appears on the display when the
amalgam rotor needs to be replaced, i.e., once it has
reached a filling level of 95 % (see the document
"Care
and Cleaning by the Practice Team"
).
A continuous sound
indicates that the rotor is full and
no longer functioning properly.
An intermittent sound
indicates a system error. The
water supply is interrupted. Please contact your service
engineer.
IMPORTANT
The rotor inside the amalgam separator must be re-
placed at least once a year, even if the AMALG message
does not light up. Otherwise, unpleasant odors can
develop.

Disinfection system (optional)
When the message
DESINF
flashes on the dentist ele-
ment display during treatment, you should refill 1 liter of
DENTOSEPT P
at the latest after the end of the treat-
ment day.
When the message flashes, it is
not
possible to perform
sanitation.
Remove the cover behind the cuspidor and pour in 1 liter
of
DENTOSEPT P
.
The
filler trough
should always be kept
clean
. Always
make sure that
no tap water
enters the filler trough!

Sanitation of the treatment center
Perform sanitation every
4 weeks
