Positioning the assistant element
The assistant element can be swiveled to the side and to
the front.
To do this grasp the assistant element laterally at the
handpiece rack (1).
The ease of the swivel movement toward the front can
be set with the knob (2).
CAUTION
Make sure that the backrest does not collide with the
assistant element if you have positioned the latter in the
movement range of the backrest.
Also make sure that the assistant element is not posi-
tioned above the patient when the chair moves upward
(on contact with the patient, a safety switch stops the
movement).

DANGER
The suction hose handpieces contain magnets.
Body
contact of the suction hose handpiece near a cardiac
pacemaker may have a disturbing effect on the function-
ing of the cardiac pacemaker.
Therefore avoid using the suction hose handpiece near
cardiac pacemakers.
Furthermore, direct contact of the suction hose hand-
piece with magnetic cards can lead to data loss.
Suction hose handpieces with integrated magnets are
marked with the following symbol:
