Stretch stitch
Stretch stitches ensure you of a stitch that is
strong and flexible and will give with the fabric
without breaking. The flexibility of the straight
stretch stitch makes it ideal for seaming heavy,
knit or easy to ravel fabrics.
These stitches can also be used as a bold,
decorative top stitch.
Triple zigzag stretch stitch is suitable for medium
to heavyweight stretch fabrics in any area you
would normally use a zigzag stitch or decorative
rickrack trim.
Note:
Reinforce points that will be subject
to strain such as inseams and attaching
sleeves.
Straight stretch stitch is used to add triple
reinforcement to stretch and hardwearing seams.
Use it to sew stress areas such as the crotch
seams in pants or the sleeve underarm area.
