-  Selection charts and limits of use mentioned in this document are given for information and may vary according to each installation characteristics

(more particularly : type of slats, frictions, conditions of installation, variations in power supply voltage, torque variations due to each grilles and

metal curtains kinematics and to its springs strength). That can not commit the salesman or manufacturer’s responsibility at all.

-  All technical data below are given to nominal torque of the motor and with à correct balance by springs (= disengaging the motor should not cause

movements of the curtain - the curtain must be manoeuvrable manually by one person).

EN - TRANSLATION OF THE

ORIGINAL MANUAL

Read this manual carefully before using the

machine.

This manual applies to all CENTRIS motors (S, M, L, XL, XXL) powered with 230V/50Hz, 240V/50Hz and CENTRIS motors (100, 200) powered

with 120V/60Hz (torque/speed versions detailed in chapter 1).

Mandatory instructions to be followed by the motor and building automation professional installing the motor.

CENTRIS motors are intended to activate vertical winding doors and windows equipped with compensation systems, such as curtains or grills

for commercial or industrial premises, whose winding systems are protected against falling or against uncontrolled imbalance movements, if a

single suspension system or balancing system component fails. The fitter, a motorization and building automation professional, must insure, after

installation, that the installation is conform with local standards and particularly with EN 13241-1.

Read this manual carefully before installing and using the CENTRIS motor. In addition to the instructions described in this manual, you must also

follow the instructions detailed in the attached document

"ICC Safety Instructions".

The motor must be installed by a motor and building automation professional, in accordance with the SIMU instructions and the regulations applicable

in the country of use.

All use of CENTRIS motors outside the scope of application described above is prohibited. This frees SIMU from all liability and warranty obliga-

tions, as does failure to respect the instructions in this manual and in the attached document

"ICC Safety Instructions"

.

The installer must inform their customers of the conditions for using and maintaining the CENTRIS motor and must provide them with the use and

maintenance instructions, as well as the attached document

"ICC Safety Instructions"

, after installing the CENTRIS motor.

All operations on the CENTRIS motor, including After Sales Service, require the intervention of a motor and building automation professional. If

you have any doubts while installing the CENTRIS motor or if you require any additional information, get in touch with a SIMU contact or visit the

website

www.simu.com.
