Before connecting the mains power supply,
ensure the voltage and frequency correspond
with that listed on the machine's rating plate.
Ensure the power socket is fitted with a residual
current device.
Do not operate the machine if the power lead is
damaged or frayed.
Do not connect the machine to a damp power
plug or socket.
Do not connect the machine to mains power
using an extension lead longer than 10 metres.
Ensure there is complete continuity between the
machine and an effective earthing system which
complies with local and national regulations.
