8 MAINTENANCE
8.1
Adjustments
For the appliance to operate correctly and efficiently it is recom-
mended that the User calls upon the services of a Professionally
Qualified Technician to carry out
ANNUAL
maintenance.

CAUTION
– The maintenance interventions described must
ONLY be carried out the professionally qualified
personnel
who MUST wear
suitable protective safety
equipment.
– Make sure that the temperature of the components
inside the device or of the system pipes are not too
hot (risk of burns).
– Shift the system's main switch to “OFF”.
– Close the fuel shut-off valve.

8.2
Cleaning the inside of the appliance
Periodic maintenance normally involves cleaning of:
– the fume passages, inside the cast iron body
– fume discharge ducts
– burner
– heat recovery device and condensate discharge siphon.
8.2.1
Dismantling the jacket
To facilitate internal maintenance of the appliance, we suggest
partially dismantling the jacket in accordance with the following
procedure:
– remove the front panel (1) and the top panels (2) and (3)
– loosen the screws (4) and (5), then remove the panel (6) by
sliding it out backwards from the side
– loosen the screws (7) securing the panel (8) to the frame of
the appliance
– pull the panel (8) first towards the front and then upwards to
remove it
