Figure 6, Change parameters IQ Com.
Figure 7.
The parameters "Device name" and "Machine position/name" can be changed at you discretion.
This can be useful to keep an overview when several IQ Com’s / CM5’s are connected to one
machine. With the parameter “Device type version” the type of Chargemaster CM5 which is
connected to the IQ Com can be selected.
To activate the high voltage output of the CM5, the following conditions must be met:
The IQ Com must be set to "Run" (6.2.1 Standby, Run and Autorun)
A "Setpoint" has to be set (6.2.2 Control mode)
The "Remote" signal must be active or the IQ Com must be set to continuous mode
(6.2.3 Continuous- and Remote-mode)
The current output voltage and current can be read out with the parameters "Output voltage"
and "Output current" (Figure 7).
6.2.1. Standby, Run en Autorun
Press on the main screen of the Manager IQ Easy on the IQ Com icon. Press
to set the IQ
Com to Run. On the main screen
, the IQ Com will now appear as displayed in Figure 5.
Press
to set the IQ Com to Standby. When the parameter "Autorun" (Figure 8) is set to
"Yes", the IQ Com will switch to Run after start up.

6.2.2. Control mode
The IQ Com has different ways in which the output voltage and current of the CM5 can be
arranged. The generator can work in VC mode (Voltage Control), CC mode (Current Control) or
CLFB mode. The default mode is VC mode.
