When the IQ Com is set to Remote mode, the following conditions must be met, in order to
activate the high voltage on the output of the generator:
- the IQ Com must be set to "Run"
- a "Setpoint" must be set
- a "Remote On" signal must be present
For more information on the "Remote On/Off" signal, see also the Manager IQ Easy user
manual.
6.2.4. Setpoint threshold (only in Remote-mode, VC-mode)
Parameter "Setpoint threshold" (Figure 7) is used to set the desired output voltage when the
remote is in the OFF state. With this option you are able to switch between two different setpoint
levels with the remote On/Off input signal. By default the "Setpoint threshold" is set to 0 kV (=
no output voltage in Remote Off state).
6.2.5. Charge pulse single shot (only in Remote-mode)
Parameter "Charge pulse single shot" (Figure 9) ensures that the high voltage at the output of
the generator is active for a (to be defined) fixed time period, after the reception of the "Remote
On" signal. By default the "Charge pulse single shot" is set to 0 ms (= not active).
6.2.6. Charge pulse min/max time (only in Remote-mode)
The parameter "Charge min pulse time" (Figure 9) ensures that the high voltage at the output of
the generator is active for a (to be defined) minimum time period, after the reception of the
"Remote On" signal. When the "Remote On" signal is longer than the time set for "Charge pulse
min time", the "Remote On" signal will prevail. The high voltage will then act on the "Remote
On" signal. By default, the "Charge min pulse time" is set to 0.00 Sec (= not active).
The parameter "Charge pulse max time" is a "Warning” setting. When the high voltage at the
output of the generator is active longer than the set value of "Charge pulse max time", a warning
will be displayed on the screen of the Manager IQ Easy. By default, the "Charge pulse max
time" is set to 0.00 Sec (= not active).
