Quick Start Steps
After few seconds,
GPS STATE
LED blinks slowly and
ANTENNA SUPPLY
LED
switches
ON

XM0110 firmware is downloaded and first NMEA frames output on UART1
o
You get GSA sentence stating that you are in automated mode with no fix available:
$GPGSA,A,1,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,0.0, *30
5. After few more seconds,
GPS STATE
led blinks briefly.
You will get your first GSA sentence stating that a fix is available, and your GPS position
in the GGA sentence:
$GPGSA,A,3,07,08,18,21,22,,,,,,,,,,2.6, *33
$GPGGA,164200,000,4849.6099,N,00215.6583,E,…
The GPS fix is now achieved.
6. Enter
AT+GPSSAVE=1
to save the current settings and automatically re-start GPS at
Embedded Module Development Kit power ON.
