Terminals 81 and 84 are only to be connected if special electrode cable with double
screening is used, e.g. when empty pipe function or long cables are used.

Special cable with individual wire shields (shown as dotted lines) are only required when
using empty pipe function or long cables.
Note
All inputs and outputs are galvanically isoloated PELV circuits with 60 VDC isolation from
each other and ground. Exception are sensor connections that are connected to ground.

The mains protective earth wire must be connected to the PE terminal in accordance with
the diagram (Protection class I).

Ouptput cables
If long cables are used in noisy environments, it is recommended to use screened cables.
