Notes:
The pick-up characteristic can be set independently for
D
bus-section specific busbar protection,
D
check zone,
D
circuit-breaker failure protection with forced unbalance.

Load characteristic
The isolator replica is common for busbar protection
and circuit-breaker failure protection.
D
The system is laid out for 48 bays, 12 bus sections
and 12 bus coupler sections
The protection system is suitable for configuraĆ
tions with single, double or triple busbars with or
without transfer (bypass) bus. Combi-bus operaĆ
tion is possible.
Up to 4 couplers (1 coupler = 2 bays) can be confiĆ
gured. These can be bus couplers or/and longitudiĆ
nal sectionalizers.
With transfer (bypass) or combi-bus operation up
to 4 bus sections can be handled. (With "combi-
bus operation" the main bus can assume the funcĆ
tion of a transfer bus).
D
Integrated storage of isolator status on loss of DC
supply
D
Isolator running time supervision
D
The allocation of NOT OPEN = CLOSED elimiĆ
nates the necessity of calibrated isolator auxiliary
contacts.
D
Matching to station configuration by operator-
guided configuration during commissioning.
D
Isolator status indication by means of LEDs in the
bay units.
