Attaching and connecting the front panel 

1.

 

Attach the front panel of the Extension Unit to the terminal compartment as shown, and 

connect the connector to the following interfaces of the communication module: 
–

 

30-pin connector of the cable harness (blue adhesive tape) with X17 (Standard and 

Advanced) 

–

 

30-pin connector of the cable harness (red adhesive tape) with X15 (Standard and 

Advanced) 

–

 

6-pin connector of the internal bus with X16 (Advanced only) 
The cable harnesses of the connectors are marked with colored adhesive tape as 

follows:

Fasten the front from the rear with the connection compartment with 4 T20 screws and a 

torque of 1.5 Nm.
