Preassemble the short-stroke adapter
With some Advanced operator controls, a short-stroke adapter shortens the path of the lens
assemblies. Operation appears more precise and the reaction more immediate.
Preassemble the short-stroke adapter on the operator control.
Procedure
1.
Install the spring to the left of the short-stroke adapter as shown.
2.
Insert the short-stroke adapter into the operator control from behind. The short-stroke
adapter has a large and a small groove as locking element.
Make sure that the large groove on the short-stroke adapter engages in the large recess
on the operator control as marked.
3.
Insert the short-stroke adapter into the operator control until it clicks into place. The short-
stroke adapter must grip the operator control evenly on all sides.
