Mounting in vertical format
NOTICE
CD/DVD operation not permitted with mounting in vertical format
CD/DVD drives must not be operated in this position. The CD drawer opens downward; this
can lead to damage to the drawer mechanics.
Note
Mounting precautions

The total power for USB and PCI/PCIe expansions cannot exceed 30 W.
Note
This mounting position is also permitted for Information Technology Equipment if the device
is mounted in an enclosure that complies with the requirements of sections 4.6 and 4.7.3 of
IEC/EN/DIN EN 60950-1.

Note
Stability of the mounting cutout
The material in the area of the mounting cutout must provide sufficient strength to guarantee
the enduring and safe mounting of the HMI device.
The force of the clamps or operation of the device may not lead to deformation of the
material in order to achieve the degrees of protection described below.
