Installing and removing expansion cards
Requirement
•
Tx10 screwdriver
Procedure
Installation
1. Remove the screw

at the rele-
vant slot and take out the associat-
ed slot bracket, similar to the figure.
2. Insert the expansion card into the
slot in the arrow direction.
Slide the expansion card into the
slot as far as it will go without tilt-
ing the card.
3. Secure the expansion card with the
corresponding screw.
Removal
Proceed in the reverse order for the removal. In step 2, unlock the expansion card in the slot
before removing it.

Removing and installing the graphics card
Below as example for the NVIDIA Quadro RTX5000 graphics card.
Requirement
•
The device is open in accordance with section "Open the device. (Page 53)".
•
Note the conditions in the section "Configuration variants (Page 57)".

Procedure
WARNING
Danger of injury by rotating parts
The fan blades rotate in the self-ventilated graphics card. Even after the device is switched
off, the fan blades continue to rotate for a while. There is a risk of injury at the rotating parts
of the fan, e.g. through cutting.
•
Wait until the fan blades come to a standstill.
•
Only then should you remove the graphics card.
