19.3.1

Replacing the display on the OP27M

Carry out the following steps in order to replace the monochrome display of
the OP27M:

Step

Action

Lay down the device with its front plate facing downwards.

Remove the four screws

from the housing.

Carefully remove the housing rear panel and lay it down with its inside
facing upwards.

Remove the battery connector

from the electronic assembly.

· ¸

Remove the connector

from the display socket on the electronic assem-

bly (see figure in Step 4).

Open the connectors belonging to the ribbon cables

and

gently lifting the at both sides of the front side (see figure in Step 4). Pull
out the ribbon cables.
