General safety instructions
The information below applies when the back cover IP20 is mounted by the customer.
Note
Observe the following points:
•
Mounting and connection of the device with back cover IP20 is the responsibility of the plant constructor.
•
The mounting of the back cover IP20 on a device is only permitted according to section "Mounting back cover IP20
(Page 17)" of this document.
Observe also the "Safety instructions" in the documents related to the respective device.
Warranty
Prerequisites for trouble-free and safe operation of the device on which back cover IP20 is to be mounted:

Proper transportation and storage
●
Proper mounting and wiring
Non-compliance with these regulations shall render the device warranty void.
ESD
An ESD (Electrostatically Sensitive Device) is equipped with electronic components. Due to their design, electronic
components are highly sensitive to overvoltage and electrostatic discharge. Observe the regulations governing the handling
of ESD components.
