9 Instrument Storage and Transportation
Please note that this instrument can be stored or transported with the
following environmental parameters:

10 Calibration and Repair of the Instrument
Siemens recommend that this audiometer should be calibrated on an
annual basis. Please contact Siemens or the designated distributor for
details of calibration services. See also Appendix 5.
The instrument should be returned to the
manufacturer for service & repair. There are no user-
serviceable parts within it.
When packing the instrument for shipping, please use the original shipping
carton and packing materials. Please also ensure that the headset leads
are not wrapped around the headband of the headset.
11 Guarantee
All Siemens instruments are guaranteed against faulty materials and
manufacture. The instrument will be repaired free of charge for a period of
one year from the date of despatch if returned, carriage paid, to the
Siemens service department.
Important Note:
The following exceptions apply:
Earphones, bone vibrator and other transducers may go out of calibration
due to rough handling or impact (dropping). The life of the leads is also
dependent upon conditions of use. These parts are only guaranteed
against faulty materials or manufacture.
