Storing images on your mobile
Image management varies be-
tween mobile phones. Please
read the manual for your mobile
phone.
Storing images on your PC
You can store your pictures on
your PC.
Transfer the images to your PC
using your mobile phone’s
Blue-
tooth™ or infrared port
(depending
on your mobile phone and PC
features). You can then archive
the images there. You must be
close to your PC for the transmis-
sion technology to work (in the
same room with direct line of
sight to the port).
It is also possible to transfer im-
ages via the
serial port
. You will
need:
• a serial data cable, available
from the range of original Sie-
mens accessories and
• software for the PC included
in your mobile phone pack-
age.
It is also possible to send the im-
ages by
MMS
or
to an e-
mail address (p. 6). You can
open the e-mail on your PC,
download the images and store
them on your PC.
Sending images
You can send images via

ervice to an-
other mobile phone or to an e-
mail address. The QuickPic Cam-
era does not need to be connect-
ed to the mobile phone during
transfer as the images are sent
directly from your mobile
phone.
MMS enables you to send text,
images and sound from your
mobile.
Ask your service provider if this
service is offered. You may need
to register.
Read the description in your mo-
bile phone manual on how to
write and send MMS.
Sending to another mobile phone
The 'other' mobile phone must
be capable of receiving images
via MMS.
Sending to an e-mail address
You can send the images by
MMS or e-mail to an e-mail ad-
dress. Enter the e-mail address
when sending the images.
The recipient will receive an e-
mail with an attachment that
can be downloaded and proc-
essed in the usual way.
