Step by Step
Lock Phone
You can use this option to lock your phone so that unau-
thorized persons cannot make calls from or change your
user settings.
Emergency numbers and predefined numbers from the
dialing plan can be dialed.
Prerequisite
: You are in the "Local Functions" menu
page 51.

Select and confirm.
Clear Phone Lock
>
Open the menu on the telephone. You will be asked for
your User password. As soon as you enter your User
password, the lock is cancelled.
Memory
You can use this option to clear abbreviated dialing num-
bers or to reset the phone to the factory default.
Clearing Abbreviated Dialing Numbers
You can use this option to clear all programmed abbre-
viated dialing numbers.
Prerequisite
: You are in the "Local Functions" menu
page 51.

Select and confirm. All abbreviated dialing numbers
have been cleared.
Resetting Memory to Factory Default Settings
You can use this option to reset the phone settings to
the factory default values.
Open the "Local Functions" menu
page 51.
The telephone can only be locked if you have de-
fined a user password

data. Settings made by the administrator are not
